Short trip to Oak Mountain State Park

Chrissy was tired of sticking around the house because we kept running errands and doing real life everyday things.  She barked that she wanted to go camping, so we headed to Oak Mountain State Park.

She loves being held and napping outside, so David accommodated her.  Relaxed isn't she!

Our friend Brian Kunz joined us for dinner that night.  Those of you who know Chrissy know that she's not the friendliest little dog you've ever met.  She loves Brian.  He actually held her and petted her.  For quite some time.  We were shocked.  She won't let us hold her that long!  I should be jealous!

The next night we learned there was a campground bingo game.  For $1.00 per card you could play 9 games.  For the 10th game you paid a dollar a game, but you played "coverall" and the prize was two free nights camping at Oak Mountain!  We were in!

I came close several times, but David actually got to shout BINGO!  You got to pick your prize from the table and he chose a $30 book on camping in Alabama.   Really nice book.  Guess who didn't win anything in spite of playing 2 cards? Yep, me....Neither of us won the camping!  Now we'll have to go back to try it again!

Quick trip but very much enjoyed!
