And we're off!

David and I both volunteer with Alabama Raceway Ministries (go "LIKE" Alabama Raceway Ministries on Facebook!).  We headed to Montgomery for a meeting with several of the leadership members for planning for the future and for the next races in October.  Had a great lunch and a greater meeting!  Exciting things to come!

Uneventful trip to Montgomery and then on to Fort Valley, GA.  It's a place to spend the night on our way to Charleston, SC.  The lady who runs the campground at Fort Valley was really sweet.  She described the campground as quiet and well lit.  Well lit was the right word.  Woke up a couple of times and thought it was morning!
