Charleston and Friends

Back on the road earlier than planned.  The campground was so well lit, we thought it was morning at 4:00 a.m., so we ate breakfast and pulled out.  We never unhooked, so there wasn't much for David to do before pulling out.

South Carolina!  Then this beautiful state entrance:

We've camped in South Carolina before, but not in this part of the state.  It's beautiful here!  Wish we'd come sooner!

We're headed to James Island Campground in Charleston.  It was highly recommended to us by friends, so that's where we made reservations.  We also have recommendations on places to eat and things to do. One of the things to do is a Dinner Cruise. Our friends from North Carolina, Eddie and Susan will be joining us in Charleston.

We got in and got set up.  Eddie and Susan arrived at their hotel and made their way over to the campground.  David cooked out - Ribeyes, Killer Mac and Cheese!  Susan made a salad.

We had a great time planning what we were going to see and do while we were all here.  We decided on the dinner cruise, a harbour tour, and a carriage tour.  We made plans to meet the next morning and see Charleston!

Catch us down the road!

Jenny :)
